Verdictly is a decision app. It is built so that your decisions stay on your device.

Who we are

Verdictly is made by Sanchu LLC (https://sanchullc.com), 8 The Green, Suite R, Dover, DE 19901, United States, sanchu@sanchullc.com. We reply within 30 days.

What Verdictly stores

Everything below is stored only on your phone, in the app’s private storage:

Verdictly has no account, no server of its own and no analytics. Your journal, notes, voice notes, photos and name are never sent to us or to anyone else. Two outside services are involved, only as described below: Google AdMob shows the ads in the free version, and RevenueCat confirms a Verdictly Plus subscription.

Deleting the app deletes all of it, except share cards saved to your photo library (see Share cards). You can also wipe everything inside the app any time from Settings → Reset progress, which deletes your journal, notes, voice notes, photos, coins and progress, and the cards stored inside the app. It does not touch cards you saved to your photo gallery (or, on Android, to Pictures/Verdictly), a save you copied out yourself, or your phone’s own backups. Your settings and Verdictly Plus stay.

Phone backups: like most apps, Verdictly’s private storage can be included in your phone’s own backup (iCloud or Google backup), under your account and your phone’s settings. We never receive it.

Microphone (optional)

Verdictly asks for the microphone only if you turn on “Blow into the mic to start” or record a voice note.

You can say no, or turn the microphone off later in your phone’s settings. Tapping works just as well.

Camera (optional)

Verdictly asks for the camera only when you choose Choose from photos — to snap the things you’re choosing between, or a menu. Photos are kept small and saved only in the app’s private storage on your phone. They are never uploaded, and they are never shown to the ad or purchase services. Reset progress deletes them.

Reading a menu: when you snap a menu, your phone’s own built-in text recognition (Apple Vision on iPhone, Google ML Kit on Android) reads the dish names on the device. The picture and the text never leave your phone, and no AI service is used. On Android, Google ML Kit may send Google basic diagnostics about the reader itself (device model, app version, how long reading took) — never the photo or the text.

Notifications (optional)

If you say yes to Deci’s good-morning notes, Verdictly schedules one local notification a day (a short note or today’s dilemma) on your phone. It is created on the device itself — no push service, no tracking. Turn it off in the daily dilemma screen or your phone’s settings. The note can show your name and today’s question (including your own daily questions) on the lock screen; your phone’s notification settings control whether lock-screen previews are shown.

Share cards (optional)

When you tap Share card, Verdictly draws a picture of that one decision — the question, the options, the answer, the machine, the date and a QR code that replays it — and opens your phone’s share sheet. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose where to share it. On Android the card is also saved to Pictures/Verdictly; on iPhone you can choose “Save Image”. The QR code holds the question, all the choices, the date and time, and the draw’s code, so anyone who scans it can replay the same draw.

On Android, a copy of each card you share is saved to Pictures/Verdictly and stays there until you delete it — including after uninstalling. When someone opens a replay link, Verdictly asks before playing it.

Ads (free version)

The free version shows a few gentle ads — never during a decision, never in Heavy Mode — and an optional “watch a short ad for coins”. They are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google’s software in the app may collect your device’s IP address (and an approximate location derived from it), device and app information, an advertising or app-set identifier (Android), and how you interact with ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you are asked first, through Google’s consent form, and can change your choice in the app’s settings. On iPhone, Verdictly does not ask to track you, so ads are not personalised with your advertising identifier. Ads never receive your questions, choices, journal, notes, photos or name. How Google uses this data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Verdictly Plus removes all ads.

US states: under some US state privacy laws (such as California’s), showing ads this way can count as “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can opt out in Settings → Privacy choices for ads (shown where it applies), or turn on your phone’s “limit ad tracking” / “delete advertising ID”.

Purchases

Coins are earned by playing (or by choosing to watch a short ad) and spent on looks and comfort inside the app. They can’t be bought with money.

Verdictly Plus is an optional yearly subscription, paid through Apple or Google — we never see your card details. To confirm your subscription on your devices, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user id, the purchase receipt and the subscription status from the store. It does not receive your name, email or anything you decide in the app. RevenueCat’s policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Nothing you can buy, and no ad, ever changes the odds of a draw.

The browser version

The browser version keeps everything in your browser’s own storage. It loads nothing from other servers — its fonts are built in — and sends nothing anywhere. It asks for the microphone only if you turn on blowing on the dandelion, and nothing is recorded. It shows no real ads and sells nothing.

Children

Verdictly is not made for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information. The app itself collects no personal information from anyone; the ad and purchase services work as described above.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be in the app and on this page, with a new date.
